These terms apply to everyone who uses RentSquire: owners who list homes, and people who book showings or apply.

What RentSquire is

RentSquire is operated by Selectic Inc. RentSquire is software. It gives owners a listing page, showing booking and a way to collect applications. RentSquire is not a real estate broker, does not represent owners or renters, does not negotiate leases and does not collect rent, deposits or any other money.

Owners

• You are responsible for your listing being accurate and for having the right to rent the home.
• You decide who to rent to. You must follow fair housing laws: never decide based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, family status, or any other protected characteristic under federal, state or local law, and apply the same requirements to every applicant.
• Use applicants' information only to evaluate their application for your home.

Renters

• Booking a showing and applying through RentSquire are free.
• Please give true information. The lease, rent and deposit are between you and the owner. Never send money to anyone before you have seen the home and signed a lease with its owner.

Text messages

When you book a showing or apply, you agree to receive text messages from RentSquire about that showing or application: confirmations, reminders and next steps. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No warranty

RentSquire is provided as is. We are not responsible for the condition of any home, for the decisions of owners, or for agreements between owners and renters.
